sharonella Posted July 25, 2005 #22 Share Posted July 25, 2005 I haven't tried this, but a gal I work out with said this is a greeat tool to losing weight: www.mypyramid.org I have been working out with Gilad and the Caribbean workout on Fit TV. Channel 268 on Direct TV. Great way to work Abs, hips, butt, and legs! Hi Folks I just went to this website and it is NOT the REAL government USDA website:eek: - it is a "joke" of some sort, making fun of the actual website, and seems to be totally based on the real USDA website - right down to the logos and layout - my tipoff was that it says it is the website of the U S Department of Agribusiness (not Agriculture, as USDA stands for). Maybe the poster accidentally did type .org instead of .gov? Either way, the .org site is some sort of political statement, NOT a health aid. The real website is www.mypyramid.gov as recommended here by faireygod mother's YMCA
Gabrielle R. Posted July 25, 2005 #23 Share Posted July 25, 2005 I made a mistake, in my post it was www.mypyramid.gov I just spoke to my friend as we worked out at Curves and she said she told me wrong! So, got home and went to make the change and well.... lusochic Posted August 10, 2005 #25 Share Posted August 10, 2005 For shoes, you will want to make sure the wearer tries them on first. Follow our guide for getting the right shoes in “Sole Facts” at http://walkacrosstexas.tamu.edu/pdf/health_breaks/sole_facts_handout.pdf, or see “Picking the Right Shoe” at http://www.pbs.org/americaswalking/gear/gearpicking.html, or “Athletic Shoes: Choosing the Right Footwear” at http://www.cnn.com/HEALTH/library/HQ/00885.html. A gift certificate to the shoe store might be a welcome gift.
