Balliett Posted September 2, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2009 Barrister, We arranged online for a car service to pick us up at the ship (HAL Rotterdam) in Venice for transfer to the airport. Cruise Junky Posted September 2, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2009 There's a bus service that runs from Nice airport to Monaco.. It's a specific airport bus made for Luggage, very, very easy. We were told by our Monte Carlo hotel to take a shuttle from Nice Airport ( 18 Euros a person). This will stop opposite the hotel. We will taxi it the next morning. There is a roll call on this cruise in case you are interested. I was planning to taxi it in Venice. Not sure whether I shall stay a day or leave same day. englandsrose Posted September 2, 2009 #5 Share Posted September 2, 2009 We recently (on August 7th) got a taxi from Nice direct to the port at Monte Carlo and it cost us €70, there was a bit of a hold up so that added slightly to the cost, and we did have 3 very large suitcases!
