jmnskn Posted May 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2004 I am new to cruising and have a question about booking a hotel room thru the cruiseline. We are in a large party and are all going down the day before. If we decide to book a room through the cruise line, will this also include transfers even if we don't book air? PhoenixCruiser Posted May 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2004 I believe you can get a hotel package with and without transfers. You will save money by booking your own hotel, as well as by arranging your own transportation. Have you tried Priceline? Have fun planning Navigator of the Seas 6/26/04

Majesty Fan Posted May 13, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2004 Don't do the package deal! They are over priced like $200+ for the same hotel people are getting off of priceline. We do a 6 night land vacation before we sail and already have every hotel booked and we are not leaving until Oct 10th! Lexi
pcur Posted May 14, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 14, 2004 I agree you can do much better by booking a hotel that has a complimentary shuttle from the airport and to the cruise ship. I don't know where you're sailing from, but in Ft. Lauderdale, the Embassy Suites, Comfort Suites - Airport, and Amerisuites all have shuttles. Priceline is good, I agree, if you check on the amenities icons and look for one with a shuttle in the area where you're intersted in staying.
