Any updates as to when the new terminal will be opening?

From all indications, not anytime soon. Supposedly work stopped earlier this year due to some political squabbles between the new Belize Government and one of the local businessmen/ partners/ ex government official over rights to the land. Nothing on th enet or Belizian news services. The Terminal's website hasn't been updated in over a year.
