Skate park

I saw that there is a new, huge skateboard park on Grand Cayman. Anyone been there?

Try searching for reports on the Black Pearl Skate Park.

 

It is located at the rear of the Hurley's Grand Harbour Shopping Center, a short taxi or bus ride east of George Town.

 

If you have Google Earth you can seen the terrain of the skate park at these coordinates:

 

19° 16' 58.5" North 81° 20' 44" West

 

 

For size comparison, the large building just to the south is a full size supermarket with a few other stores on one side of the building and a restaurant around back.

We spent a week in the Cayman's last July and my grandson went to the park 3 times. He loved it!
