for Scuba Girl re: Early December Sky trip

We'll be in Nassau in early December and were thinking of going to the Sheraton or Cabbage Beach.

 

However, since we're only on a 3 night/2 day cruise, I'd like to send some time on the boat while in Nassau (docking at 8AM)

 

Two things...I'm worried about the ocean being too cold for this Florida girl

 

Secondly....Perhaps we're better off just walking around the steps/straw market and then heading back to the ship due to the short cruise? Can we do the Sheraton or Cabbage Beach in just a few hours?
