I don't typically have an OBC..but my S&S usually consists of tips, a couple alcoholic drinks and a photo or two. :)

They will always take tips out of it, no matter what it says. Tips, tee shirts, jewelry, alchohol, bingo, whatever you spend money on.

If you have a lot of OBC, use it for excursions, then it will be used in really fast, besides tipping... wait to book your excursions when you are onboard.

Yep, excursions would be one way to spend it too, especially since some excursions are only offered once on-board. It's a really good idea, provided your excursion isn't the very limited participation variety...:rolleyes:
