Cashless Atlantis?

Hi Everyone, I need some help (I can hear everybody groaning, "Oh, no, not another Atlantis question!)

My sister is going on her first cruise and we are doing Atlantis. We have heard that Atlantis is cashless, and she is using her small credit card for her sail and sign. I told her to go get a prepaid Visa card for a hundred dollars or so for Atkatis but we are afraid it might not work or something. Does anyone know if Atlantis takes travellers checks...I thought not since cash is involved for change and stuff. How have you done this if you have gone to Atlantis? Thanks for any input!

Atlantis is Cashless at the outside beach venues, lunch spots and souvenier shops. Using Travelers Checks would not work, since they won't have change.

You must use a credit card or debit card with a Mastercard/Visa logo.

A prepaid Visa should be fine as long as it's got the Logo.

Inside the casino, lobby shopping and at the larger restaurants and Marina Village shoppes, you can use cash.

It's just the areas around the beach and pools and at the aquapark.

My mother and I spent the day at Atlantis in July. I went to AAA and got a prepaid visa to use at Atlantis because they are a cashless society. The prepaid visa worked just fine the entire day. We didn't have any trouble and it was used at a variety of venues (deli, pottery studio, perfume store, restaurant, etc).
