Hotel Suggestions for Reykjavik, Iceland

We are planning to do a 2 day stopover in Reykjavik on our way to England for a Norwegian Fjords cruise. Can anyone recommend a hotel in Reykjavik?

Hi, again, Arlene: I just gave you my input over on the other thread (kristi's 7/09 ..asking about sights on her northern itinerary). Hope the information helps. The B&B was centrally located and very reasonable.

Major hotels in Iceland are owned by the same company that owns Iceland Air. We stayed in one a long while back and it was fine. The only inconvenience was the ATM in the lobby ran out of cash early Saturday and wasn't refilled until Monday. Call Iceland Air and they can help you with hotels.
