Reisebiene Posted September 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2009 Hello, we are looking for an Island Tour about 3-4 Hours and after them a nice Beach for swimming and snorkeling. Has somebody an recommendation for a Tour and nice Beach? Thanks
Caribbean Sunsets Posted September 22, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2009 Hello,we are looking for an Island Tour about 3-4 Hours and after them a nice Beach for swimming and snorkeling. Has somebody an recommendation for a Tour and nice Beach? Thanks You may want to check out this thread which is also on this page. I did the turtle tour and loved it but the one discussed on this thread sounds like a great land tour with beach stop. Hope this helps. There are some great photos too by one poster. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=933247

Bobalou Posted September 23, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 23, 2009 Last March we did a land tour with Cameron Reid. For 4 hours, we toured the whole island and saw some beautiful beaches.

Anyislandwilldo Posted September 25, 2009 #6 Share Posted September 25, 2009 We are also looking for just an island tour. What we want to do is see the beauty of the island. A 3-4 hour tour would be just right before we have to get back to the ship. Most people would like a beach break in there but we prefer to fill our time with island charm. catcruisers Posted October 4, 2009 #7 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Cameron's website is http://www.scenicbarbados.com/ We just booked with him to do the 4 hour private tour. It is $135 for three to four hours, then $34 per hour after that. We are doing two people, but he said he could fit four. Don't know how much more if any more it would be for four people. We figured it would be a bit more expensive than a shore excursion, but we could go where we wanted (we wanted to include Crane, which most tours don't include). It's cheaper to rent a taxi ($20 to $25 per hour), but we thought it might be less risky, as far as getting someone who is more of a tour guide as opposed to being just a driver. I'm sure that there are some good taxi drivers too, but didn't want to take a chance on getting someone that didn't add to the experience. He seems to get a lot of good reviews on CC. If you do a search for his name, you will see some of them.
