contemplating taking my family on Freedom in july 2010. We are a family of 5. just looking for any updated info from anyone that has sailed her lately that trveled with their kids ( age 12, 8 and 5 ):confused:

We are sailing Western July 25, 2010.

We sailed this route on the Mariner two years ago and had the time of our lives.

Just loved Labadee, their private beach and this time when we go back it will have a pier.

I see your children are younger than our daughter who will be 15 1/2 when we sail, but, let me tell you this ----the age appropriate activities on board will WOW your children. Take a picture of them on this cruise, so you don't forget what they look like.

We are sold on RCI and cannot wait till July.

We are taking our DGD in June on Freedom, will need a handicapped room for me. What would you recommend? A drop down bunk, or pull out sofa? I plan on making a reservation this week. Any input will be appreciated! She will be 14 when we sail.
