Panama Canal Tour Operators recommendations

Hi Everyone,

 

We will be on the 10/23 sailing of Summit on an EB Panama Canal. I would like to know from past cruisers if they would recommend private tour operators for this cruise or would they recommend staying with the ships excursions. Can you recommend some non-beach activities for the ports of Acapulco, Punta Arenas, CR, and Oranjsted, Aruba. Are there any special beach excursions for those who like to swim and snorkel? Our group on the fall Galaxy Transatlantic got some great recommendations from this board that made our trip fabulous. Please provide names and email addresses of tour operators that you were pleased with and any special location or activity that is a don't miss!
