kentucygrams Posted October 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2009 Would you fly into Lax or Long Beach? Which is easier for pick up?
Sgt. Jeff Posted October 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2009 For me, Long Beach wins hands down!!! Very small airport and we loved it!!!!! There are plenty of taxis and I think it costs around 23.00 to most of the Long Beach hotels!
M&JfromSDL Posted October 4, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 4, 2009 I would fly non-stop to LAX before I connected somewhere to fly to LGB non-stop.
lovevacadays Posted October 4, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Long Beach so much easier because it is a small airport. LAX can feel like a nightmare. However, LAX has more direct flights if that is important to you. Depends on your preferences. I fly out of Orange County as I love the airport so much more than LAX but OC doesnt typically have direct flights. I am willing to transfer for the convenience of OC. If that is the same for you go to Long Beach. If you want more access to direct flights go to LAX

win1 Posted October 4, 2009 #6 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Hi there, I'm guessing you've got quite a drive to get to an airport that will get you to LA non-stop but if I'm wrong and the price is right LAX. If its no big deal as to price and the connections are the same Long Beach. Long Beach is small my neighbors don't like airplanes flying over their houses at night. We're small (our airport). We're friendly. We're Long Beach. Get here anyway you can. Enjoy your visit and your cruise, Winnie
