:)cruise booked for november on ventura first cruise with p&o, anybody know drink prices on board, what is room service like, also flying from east midlands for first time any tips or advice:confused:

Drinks prices more or less the same as UK pubs, we had room service for breakfast a couple of times, and had no complaints, arrived exactly when we asked for it.

 

Havent flown from East Midlands, so I cant help you there!!

We flew from East Midlands last March to Ventura. It was Thomsonfly. No problems, plenty of legroom now, 9hr flight, plenty drinks served, lunch served and snack before landing, flight on time so all in all quite good. Transfer to ship is excellent, straight off plane onto bus on tarmac and to ship about 45min trip. No immigration to go though and no luggage to pick up. Luggage follows later and is delivered to your cabin but it might be 3 hours after you arrive so make sure your P&O labels are on when you check in at EM.

No you dont and I dont think smoking is permitted until you enter the terminal building, which of course you dont enter.
