Flying in on the day of the cruise...Have I got a story for you

That story had me chewing my nails! Great writing too.

One of the sorriest sites we have seen on a cruise was getting off the ship at Cabo San Lucas and seeing a group of people with their luggage waiting to board. They must have missed the ship in San Diego which was unfortunate because we were at sea for a day before arriving in Cabo. They looked like they had been to hell and back. Not a great way to start a vacation. But at least they caught up with the ship and hopefully enjoyed the rest of the cruise.

That was a bit stressful reading your orignal post... SO glad though that you made the boat in the end, and thats fantastic how great the staff were being toward you.

I always make sure to be there the day before at least, for me it works well.. don't live in America so that way I can see more & do tourist stuff... so I haven't had issues with flights before a cruise, the last time we got to Miami the night before our cruise (after 22 hrs of flying!) and all was good... But after leaving the cruise, we had our flight cancelled (3 flights after that cancelled... fun!)
