Carnival - Age, Refurbishments?

Someone told us that 1 or 2 of the Carnival ships really need refurbishing. Do you know which ships and when they'll be done so we make sure NOT to go on them beforehand?

 

BTW, we just went on Carnival's new Dream (the inaugural) to the Grand Med. WOW! What a ship!!! Beautiful, really modern, and fantastic carinthean leather couches and chairs! The best part was the new outside cabin with 2 bathrooms. We're spoiled for life!
