Morningstar Resort Question

We are staying at the Marriott Morningstar Resort the night prior to our 1/30 Seadream sailing and have some time the day we sail. Is it far from the resort to Coki Beach/Coral World from there? Also any idea of cab fare would be helpful as I understand the cabbies are not exactly honest about rates. Thanks

It is about a 15 minute ride to Coki Beach. Have the concierge at the Marriott arrange a cab for you if you wish. We were just there last month and the staff is very helpful. Cab rates are supposed to be regulated on the island. Just ask the doorman.

Taxis are regulated. There are a few dishonest ones in the whole lot, but most are honest. And they are supposed to have the published fares posted in their cabs. You can look at the fares in advance online at: http://*****/stthomas/getting_around_stt/taxi_stt/

 

Should be around $8 a person (in shared taxi) one way to Coki from Morningstar.
