Barbados shopping

I read that the stores in Barbados are open on Saturdays from 8:30 to 1:00. Does anyone know if this includes the shops at the cruise ship pier or do they stay open later? Are there extended hours during the month of Dec?

December is two things!

Coming-up-to-Christmas(local sales) ---and Cruise-Season-fer-real(the Tourist Dollar!)

 

As long as there's a buck to be made, the stores are open in December

just about seven days a week

- even on Saturdays, most stores stay open until 4 or 5 p.m. during December.
