Veebob Posted October 15, 2009 #26 Share Posted October 15, 2009 Do you have to ask for the reduction, or does RCC take care of it? Bob
SailingSal Posted October 15, 2009 #27 Share Posted October 15, 2009 RC is great about adjusting your booked room rate. We have even paid in full and they adjusted our rate. I check once a week for our already booked cruises to see if there has been a room adjustment. We recently saved $1,400 on our April 3, 2010 cruise out of San Juan. uksimonusa Posted October 15, 2009 #28 Share Posted October 15, 2009 To clarify further....If the price drop is after final payment, you will get an OBC in the amount equal to the drop. I know....I just got a nice one for our December Explorer cruise! :D - Steve That's what the new policy says, but I just got a $900 price drop on my new years sailing, final payment date was 09/26/09, i asked that they send me a new invoice showing the OBC, and was told, "Oh sorry, you wanted OBC, the computer is going to refund your credit card"
MDSue Posted October 15, 2009 Author #29 Share Posted October 15, 2009 Do you have to ask for the reduction, or does RCC take care of it?Bob You have to ask. I just check the price occasionally and if there is a price drop, they will honor it, No hassle. Last year we sailed on Carnival and the price went down slightly and they did not change the price, so this is a nice perk when sailing on Royal Caribbean.
