Just got a big price drop

RC is great about adjusting your booked room rate. We have even paid in full and they adjusted our rate. I check once a week for our already booked cruises to see if there has been a room adjustment. We recently saved $1,400 on our April 3, 2010 cruise out of San Juan.

To clarify further....If the price drop is after final payment, you will get an OBC in the amount equal to the drop. I know....I just got a nice one for our December Explorer cruise! :D

That's what the new policy says, but I just got a $900 price drop on my new years sailing, final payment date was 09/26/09, i asked that they send me a new invoice showing the OBC, and was told, "Oh sorry, you wanted OBC, the computer is going to refund your credit card"

Do you have to ask for the reduction, or does RCC take care of it?

Bob

You have to ask.

I just check the price occasionally and if there is a price drop, they will honor it, No hassle.

Last year we sailed on Carnival and the price went down slightly and they did not change the price, so this is a nice perk when sailing on Royal Caribbean.
