Excursions on Eastern 8 day ????

When we first booked our cruise ( being our first) we looked at the excursions available at all 5 stops. Now that we are 3 months away and able to book our excursions on line there are only a few choices. They don't appear to be the same on the Carnival Home Page as when you actually go into your booking. I am wondering if we have to book in advance or is it okay to book once on board? Also wondering if anyone has feed back as to how strenuous the hike is down to the Baths in Virgin Gorda? And how far and how much for a cab to Megans Bay?

First suggest you go to the ports of call page for more info.

We went to Virgin Gorda a few months ago and at our advanced age of 60 for me and DW did not find it too strenuous. Beautiful place and can easily book it privately. Just watch the times as you need to take a ferry each way.

For Megans bay it was something like 10 each way plus a charge to get onto the beach. Beautiful beach BTW.

Cruiselines hold back a certain number of excursion spots for onboard booking----believe it or not, not everyone uses a computer to pre-book everything! If it's not showing, then wait until you board, but do head to the excursion desk first!!!
