Monarch Advice!!!!

I'm sailing on the Monarch on October 26th and am in cabin 6521, an inside cabin forward facing outside cabins.....should I change my cabin while there is still time? Is the anchor noise going to prevent me from sleeping?

On the 6th floor, if you hear the anchors, you have bionic hearing! You won't be bothered!

I was in 6012 a few weeks ago. The noise from dropping and raising the anchors was very loud. I'm not sure, whether that sound travels much to the inside cabins. I hope somebody else will know.

This will be my first cruise so I can't say first hand- but I also have a forward cabin on deck 9 and someone had told me that on the cruise the only time the anchor drops is in Cococay. Not to bad if you ask me. Going to be on the same cruise so join the Roll Call http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1010558&page=10 we would love to meet you all =)

We prefer aft cabins so we don't hear any of that noise!!.. If you have doubts - move!! Better to be safe than sorry. Good luck!

We were in cabin 9002 2 weeks ago... the second OV cabin from the front... and we didn't hear a thing!!

You'll be fine!
