summit cabin7171? Need a quick reply!!

When I looked at the deck plans this cabin appears to have bigger verandah but it is next to the elevators.
Is the bigger verandah worth the potential increase in noise from the elevator?

Gail, Don't worry about noise, it is pretty quiet on the upper floors, the most used elevator is the glass one in the middle. Enjoy the larger balcony.

This cabin has a balcony that is 25% bigger than standard. If a large balcony is important, there are many on the ship that are much larger than 7171. The deck diagrams are not always accurate.

Hey CB gal, can't tell you a damn thing about the cabin you want but wanted to say hi to a fellow (eeerrrrr Female) Canadian on this board. When are you booked on the Summit? My wife and I are booked next March 11th. Have been on the Millenium and loved it and have heard nothing but good things about the Summit.

We were in 7173 on the Summit. No problems with elevator noise. For some reason, we always tend to select a room close to the elevators and have never had a problem with noise from the elevators.

Always nice to talk to a fellow Canuck! We too have been on Millenium in 2001 and are doing the Xmas Cruise in Dec on Summit.Can't wait. I just hope the dollar doesn't start a nosedive before we go. Make sure to post a review of your trip

Why worry about the location noice factor. You will be cruising your heart out. I was on the Summit Dec 12-22 and loved her. Enjoy
