BF Category Rooms on Star princess

Hi: we have just been advised by our travel agent that we are assigned a room in the BF category on the Emeral deck of the Star Princess. Apparently there is a walking track located in front of our balcony; we have the option to upgrade to another cabin for more $ but have decided to spend our money elsewhere. that being said, we're wondering what these rooms are like; are there any members here who have stayed in one of these rooms and if so, did you find the walking track to be too intrusive? thanks!

It is not a walking track as in an exercise area, it is a section of the upper promenade that goes past your room on the Emerald deck. Your room is elevated about four feet above the walking area, the most that you will see go by are heads and shoulders. That area is usually closed off at night, too.

I love those rooms. Only the Grand and the Star have them. :(

Like the way the balcony is configured and that walkway that hangs out over the ocean. Really cool when its rough! You can also walk forward in the hallway from your cabin, walk out the door and be right out on that upper promanade deck area.
