12:55 flight out of Miami...doable?

We are cruising out of FLL in April and I am getting ready to book my airfare. The airfare is cheaper to fly into Miami instead of Fort Lauderdale. (I think normally its cheaper the other way around. :confused:) Anyway, I'm trying to figure out if we could make a flight out of Miami at that time from Port Everglades assuming all goes well with disembarkment.

 

Also trying to figure out where to stay in FLL and would we need a rental car to get around? Only plan to be there 2 days precruise.

I don't think you should have a problem. We're cruising MIA and going to FLL in Nov. and our flight is 11:45. Ekkkkkk, I sure hope everything goes well!!

You will need a one way rental car (MIA to FLL) for the 2 days in the FLL area prior to your cruise. For the trip back to MIA check out SAS for shuttle service - www.ridesas.com - your timing will be tight :eek: and you should try to speed things up with self debarkation. Good luck!:)
