WinnieinWA Posted October 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2009 I see that some of the balcony cabins on the Miracle are obstructed by life boats. Can anyone tell me how obstructed these are? I'll be sailing solo and I just like to read a bit and have a coffee in the AM on the balcony. I also see on Carnival web site there are different pricing for different categories. Are the obstructed balconies cheaper than the others? I'm really having trouble understanding the pricing and the different categories.
firefly333 Posted October 24, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2009 These are 7As right? You cant look straight down but can look out at the ocean. The first three cabins foreward seem to be more obstructed than others, They vary, try and get one looking between two lifeboats if you can. Id take one :D
kissesofnovember Posted October 24, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 24, 2009 I booked on a 7A and it was a good amount cheaper....I booked an early saver rate for $649 on the Pride although the carnival lady tried to get me to book a regular unobstructed balcony for $709---I was concerned after the fact (booking was done!) because I'm still new to cruising and i had no idea what obstructed view was! I asked about it on here and people said the views weren't too bad. I think it would be nice to get outside and smell the sea air so we stuck with the obstructed balcony
