Tell me all you liked about Navigator of the Seas!

Of course you know this is not the case. They may not always open it the moment a rain shower stops in the Caribbean, but yes, they have it open frequently.

We were on the Radiance last month on a Mexican cruise. The temperature in Cabo was 95 and the retractable roof stayed closed the entire time making the solarium more like a jungle with it's heat and humidity.:(

Captain Erik Standal just started his rotation a few weeks ago, so I guess he will take the ship across the pond and will also be the captain in November. You should have Simeon Baker as CD. According to the list he will be back on Nov 21. If there is some change than you should have Kieron Buffery.

Thank you for this information. Sounds like the captain and CD are changed up for the winter Caribbean run. Are you familiar with Simeon Baker?

We love to walk around on deck 4, you can circle the whole ship. The aft part is very quiet and place to watch the wake.

Lunch in the main dining room is great.

If you don't have a suite, the showers in the gym are a great place to shower with plenty of towels ( and privacy).

On sea days it is fun to ice skate in the rink. We like the spa pool which inside the gym.

totally agree with the gym for the best hot tub and showers although it took me a while to figure out how to work the temperature. LOVED the steam room. never crowded.

I wrote a little review here. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1102021
