About to book cabin AC 10000 on the Jade next year--R/T Barcelona (Morocco/Portugal). Anyone able to answer a few questions?

1) On this particular itinerary, is it windy, bumpy?

2) Is there wifi in the cabin?

3) Or, where can one access wifi from a private laptop, and cost?

4) How private is the balcony? How soundproof are the cabins?

5) As Suite pax, will we get first preference in dining seating, and if not going to the specialty restaurants, can we get seating before others/do we still have to reserve in the non-specialty restaurants?

Sorry--have not been on an NCL in years...)

Thanks for any info!

Recently did 10500 on the Jade, pretty much the mirror image of 10000.

1) On this particular itinerary, is it windy, bumpy? Not sure about your itinerary, we did Western Med and only had one night we couldn't use the balcony.

2) Is there wifi in the cabin? Yes, but you have to pay for it, don't remember how much.

3) Or, where can one access wifi from a private laptop, and cost?

4) How private is the balcony? How soundproof are the cabins? The balcony is fairly private, but you can easily talk to your neighbors and the people below you if you're standing at the railing. The only noise I heard in the cabin came from the hallway. Never heard anything from the neighbors' cabins except the big metal sea door on the balcony being opened and closed.

5) As Suite pax, will we get first preference in dining seating, and if not going to the specialty restaurants, can we get seating before others/do we still have to reserve in the non-specialty restaurants? You won't get seating before others unless you have a reservation. You will have a concierge who can make dinner reservations for you. We had to be flexible on time for Teppanyaki because of the way they have it set up, but otherwise we always got reservations anywhere we wanted anytime we wanted. We also didn't have to wait in line at the MDRs with everyone else at the same reservation time, the concierge told us how to go in the side door and tell any waiter we had a reservation. As an AC passenger, you also get to have breakfast and lunch at Cagney's for no additional cost. Only concierge class passengers get this perk, and the breakfast is quite good. We never had lunch there, though. You will also have a cordless phone in your cabin that you can carry around on the ship and even take into port with you. The range isn't very far, but you can make reservations or have your butler deliver ice and beverages to your cabin while you're waiting in line to get back on the ship.
