Hi! Our U.K. Editor Kelly Ranson snapped a few pics down near Lee-on-Solent, across from the Isle of Wight. A few are up on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/cruisecriticuk -- and we'll have a full news item and slideshow shortly (she's battling rush hour traffic on the way back home). She said lots of people turned out to peek at the ship, despite the blustery wind.

Some members of the board actually live in Southampton, so I hopefully wish that they will make some pics of here and share them with us....:)

I wished I could have, but I'm working a night shift and had to sleep. Original plan was to send the wife down to Lee On Solent at 12:30 to see the ship as that was the ETA when I checked this morning.

When I got up at 1pm, found it was still a distance off Brighton, thus estimated new arrival time of 4pm. By which time, would be too late to go down there, for several reasons:-

1, Got to pick kids up from school

2, Wife is busy sorting tea

3, Getting out of Lee On Solent around 4-5pm is a nightmare!

4, Need to be ready to get into work.

5, Wife needed to get back to also get us packed for our next cruise on Friday!

Both are gutted not to have seen her in the flesh. Sure we'll see her again at some point in the future, if not, then will see her sister Allure.

What a journey! Great photos. Wonderful video. I especially like the close-ups where you could see her vast size compared to the boats alongside her. Nice job! Well done, you. Thanks for going to all that trouble. I enjoyed your presentations.

xlxdriver.... thanks a lot for that fantastic video.

Where did you know that the OASIS will be seen at Solent and not in Southampton, normaly I did plan to drive to Southampton with car, but the weather was not the best , so I did decide to stay home and wait 60 days to see her live in FLL.:)
