Photo of Dream Cove Balcony Sealed Up

Here's what it looks like. On the 10/15 sailing out of Sicily, a letter was left that staff would be coming into the cabin to close off the cove balconies due to the weather. We had 70 mph winds and 40 ft. swells on the way to Barcelona (we never made it there; went to Monaco and had an overnight there instead). The chairs were later removed from the cabin and everything was back in place once we were in calm seas again.

On one of the sunny days at sea, I decided to have lunch on the balcony about the same time the crew decided to wash the lifeboats which are just above. Luckily, I had just finished my lunch before the spraying from the hoses came onto the balcony!
