Cruisin' Chick Posted November 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2009 any suggestions for 14 days parking at LAX? Thanks in advance Just wondering if it's because you're driving to LAX to take a flight there. There are different lots so hopefully someone will tell you the name and location of one that is for long term use that is relatively safe. preta Posted November 3, 2009 #5 Share Posted November 3, 2009 We always use the LAX Lot B. It is the cheapest of the official lots owned by LAX, a little farther away than the rest, and the least attractive. Still, it is very popular, less than 10 minutes from the airport, and it is the lot used by many of the employees at LAX. Shuttles run about every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day. It is huge, and except for a few holidays like Thanksgiving, there are plenty of available parking spaces. Because it is so busy, it sure seems safe. I've never heard of any issues there for cars or people. There are plenty of alternatives, some with enclosed parking, but they are all more expensive than Lot B. petlover Posted November 4, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 4, 2009 When we have an early flight out of LAX we stay the night before at Holiday Inn LAX on LaCienega Blvd. for $105. per night and it includes 14 nights free parking. This works out very well for us and they have 24 hour shuttle service to the airport and we know our car is safe. If you need to leave your car longer than 14 nights, the cost is $12. per additional night. This is called the "Park, Stay & Go" package. If your plans change, you can cancel by 6:00pm the night before with no penalty.
