breakfast and lunch in summer palace

On our last (and only) past NCL cruise, we enjoyed the food in the main dining rooms, but never had a chance to eat breakfast or lunch there. I understand that on the Pearl, the Summer Palace is open for breakfast and lunch. Can anyone tell me what type of food they serve there for breakfast and lunch? Is the service quicker than at night? Does the menu rotate? Will be leaving for our cruise in 3 days, can't wait.
