Staying @ Hyatt/Long Beach pre-cruise

We're staying @ the Hyatt in Long Beach prior to our 12/27 cruise. Can anyone tell me what restaurants are close by for dinner on Saturday night (preferably within walking distance)? Also, is there a drug store or somewhere that we can buy bottled water to take onboard nearby? Thanks.
