jaw62901 Posted January 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2005 Hi, If you book a Category S suite on the HAL Westerdam, can you order drinks and snacks to be delivered to your room.
elmorejj Posted January 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2005 In any cabin on HAL ships there is a large blue folio in your room containing the room service menus and a bar menu. Anything may be ordered for your cabin. There is also an honors bar in the suite with the price list available there...jean
RDWills Posted January 9, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2005 Cat S suites can also order tea and hors d'oeuvres for a pre dinner party. The concierge can also send invites to the guests you wish to invite. I think this is limited to either once or twice per cruise. -Robin
ryansmemom Posted January 9, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2005 I do not know of any limitation on the number of times you can have guests in your suite and order hors d'oeuvres. We did this three times on our last cruise. We also had guests over for breakfast three times. The concierge sent invitations and coordinated all six events, including ordering the breakfasts for us. We were not told there was any limit on the number of time we could do this and we were not charged extra for any of these services. Linda
Kabana Posted January 10, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2005 Since you have a balcony I highly recommend room service breakfast, we did that every am on our last cruise and loved it. You can fill out a menu each pm and hang it out.
RuthC Posted January 10, 2005 #6 Share Posted January 10, 2005 Since you have a balcony I highly recommend room service breakfast, we did that every am on our last cruise and loved it. You can fill out a menu each pm and hang it out. Which is not to imply that only those with balconies may order room-service breakfast. Any and all cabins have this available. Even those of us in lowly steerage! ;)
ryansmemom Posted January 10, 2005 #7 Share Posted January 10, 2005 Here is another tip. If you are in a catagory S, order an empty coffee pot and fill it with coffe from the Neptune Lounge. Wow!! Room service will bring you everything you need, cups and all with the pot. The coffee is really fantastic. Linda ;)
