Like what?

I don't know how about....play in the street, take candy from strangers, I'm sure I could think of plenty of more dangerous activities.

Interesting, I did google crypto (I honestly never heard of it) and the info I found, mostly from the CDC did not say that babies in swim diapers should not swim in public pools (I couldn't find anything about cruise ships but I do understand they are different). What it said is that, diapers should be checked/changed frequently and that anyone with Diareah should not swim. It also lead me to believe that you can just as easily get it from other swimmers (adults, children). You can even get it from the ocean. You can also get it a host of other ways besides swimming.

The last link tells of kids who got sick at an Atlanta waterpark. But for the most part, all these, and many other articles, have said that human feces can cause terrible illness and even death, from contaminated pools. And it is VERY well known that those swim diapers cannot hold everything in, especially wet feces.

If a line wants to legally allow diapered kids into a designated pool for any ship that enters a US port, they must apply for a variance to the CDC Vessel Sanitation Program rules. Here is a list of ships: http://wwwn.cdc.gov/InspectionQueryTool/Forms/VariancesByTopicResultList_VesselGroup.aspx?SID=6.4.1.3.1
