Suites on Carnival Liberty

We got upgraded to a suite on Empress. Does anyone have photos and do you know if the cabins still have a vcr or did they upgrade to a dvd player.:D

really would depend on the suite category.

 

When they used to be 11- 12s now they are a complete different category.

Wow - already? For a March sailing? That's great. Was it an upgrade (free) or upsell? I have one of those "L" shaped cabins for February, but would love an offer for an upgrade, and possibly an upsell. My friends sailed in a Liberty "old" cat. 11 suite a few weeks ago, but they didn't mention a dvd player- they brought a portable mini one to keep their child entertained.

in the L shape cabin on the Libert- 7434- we had a combo dvd/vcr player.

Neither worked so I dont know why it was even there- I asked the cabin steward about it and he said a previous passenger left it there.

It was a free upgrade from from a 9a side balcony on veranda:D

The cabin is an OS

in the L shape cabin on the Libert- 7434- we had a combo dvd/vcr player.

We are in this cabin Feb. 13th! Have never seen a dvd/vcr player in any cabin except a suite. That is an interesting item for someone to leave behind!

And that is a nice upgrade - from a 9A to a suite. Congrats!

We were in a category 12, not sure what it is called now and it did have a dvd player, it did not work because it was not hooked up. I talked to our cabin steward and he hooked it up and it worked from then on.
