Laughing Gull Posted November 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2009 Cruise Summary advises "Your ship begins boarding at 02:00pm and sets sail at 11:00pm on Dec 6." And our Boarding Pass remarks " Check in 2:00pm - 9:00pm Arrive after 3:00pm for a Faster Check In." We are certainly not going to wait till 9pm to check-in but I was wondering what the latest time you all would suggest?
Pam in CA Posted November 16, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2009 I'd do as suggested, board after 3pm. I'm not sure what time Muster would be but you'd want to be onboard for that. The absolute latest would be 9pm.

They need that 2 hours to clear everyone through security, send off a roster of passengers to the US Homeland Security, anyway, and get prepared to set sail. They're not going to do the lifeboat drill until everyone is aboard, so it will be after 9 p.m., for sure. I'd probably be there at 1:00, wanting to be the first in line, and spend my afternoon lolling around on the ship! :)

uppitycats Posted November 17, 2009 #7 Share Posted November 17, 2009 The posted all onboard time at the gangway usually 30 minutes prior. :) That works for ports once the ship is underway, but the initial boarding time is usually 90 minutes before initial sailing, at the latest, I think.
