Does RCI Radiance Southbound no longer cruise the inside passage?

Hi fellow cruisers,

Although I cannot find the posts, I thought I recently read somewhere that in 2010, RCI Radiance Alaska southbound will no longer cruise the inside passage on the last "cruising" day at sea. Is this correct?

There was a rumor to that effect, and indeed the itineraries initially showed just "Cruising" on that last day. But now if you look at any of the Southbound Radiance itineraries, they show "Inside Passage (Cruising)". I suspect they got a LOT of phone calls and just updated the text so that people knew what they were getting.

Thanks for your response - It does make sense that if they advertise "inside passage" as shown on RCI's website, then it should be safe to assume it will be that way (for now at least)! :o

Actually, "inside passage", means very little. ALL Alaska cruises CAN advertise it, you can not get to Skagway/Juneau without sailing it.
