disneyformepls Posted November 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2009 Hi everyone, Have any of you ever shipped a package to the hotel you will be at the night before sailing? More curious if anyone has shipped anything from the US to Spain, to the hotel that you have a paid reservation at. We are on the WBTA this September and are worried about the luggage limits. I would love to be able to ship a box over to Barcelona and have it waiting for us. Not sure what the lead time needs to be and what if anything we need to know about customs. The box will most likely be skin creams, medications and lotions (DH and DD both have extreme excema) and FE gifts. Not something I want to get held up in customs... thanks in advance! ducklite Posted November 24, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 24, 2009 I think you're asking for a world of grief with customs, not to mention the cost of shipping internationally will likely be higher than the cost of checking an extra bag. A 10 pound international flat rate box will cost $53--and that's only 12x12x5, and the USPS won't ship liquids. Also medications absolutely CAN NOT be shipped. They must be hand carried by the person they are prescribed to.
