Transportation from Port of Miami to MIA

We will need transportation from the port (POM) to the airport(MIA). If I buy the transfers thru Carnival is will be 48 $(16x3). Does anyone know if there are any cheaper shuttle service or is it just cheaper to grab a cab on the morning of departure.

Flat rate for the cab from POM to MIA is $24 + tip. Lots of cabs waiting when you get off the ship. Good luck!:)

Oh my lordie, don't buy ANY shuttles to the port or back to the airport. A cab for 3 will easily save you half and you don't have to sit in some bus waiting for bags and people to load. :eek:

The shuttles are a ripoff. A cab is cheaper and easier. Just get off the ship and there will be tons of cabs lined up.....it's easy. On the shuttle not only does it cost more, but you end up sitting on the bus waiting for it to fill up before you are taken to the airport.

Our hotel is reccomending Super Shuttle a van service we use here at home. The hotel website said it's $15 but I can't tell if that's per person. If it is, a cab is cheaper but you may as well ask.
