Modes of Transportation

Help! Am I the first family of 10 traveling from Tulsa to Galveston??? Renting a large passenger van cost as much as a weeks stay on board?? Is there not any affordable modes of transportation for all 10 of us??? We'd prefer to be in one vehicle. I'm open for any ideas!

If price is an issue, then separate! Get 2 smaller, cheaper vehicles! You can follow each other, but not pay that high price!

How about cabs? Public transport???

I'm not an expert, but I would use smaller vehicles and follow one another on the drive as long as you have enough drivers. Using two vehicles bring the added benefit of being able to switch vehicles during fuel/food stops so no one gets annoyed by their fellow passengers. :)
