mrsnemo328 Posted November 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2009 So I booked a room at the very back of the ship? I sail on the Carnival Inspiration in feb. Was it a bad idea to get this room? Will it be noisy Will it be rocky? I have no idea what I got myself into!
paul929207 Posted November 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2009 We have never been at the back, but many people love those cabins.

Rob & Beckys mom Posted November 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2009 We book many months ahead just to book an aft cabin. They are the most relaxing as there is nothing like the sound of the wake & leaving each port has a unique view. Hope you love it as much as we do. cb at sea Posted November 29, 2009 #5 Share Posted November 29, 2009 Some ships have more "vibration" in the aft....some don't...ask your question on the Carnival boards...surely someone there will have more info about that specific ship!
GlendaleCruiser Posted November 29, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 29, 2009 What's on the floor above you? Lido? Deli? What's on the floor below you? Dining room? Disco? That's the most important thing to me. (Take ear plugs if yes)
Assateague Island Princes Posted November 29, 2009 #7 Share Posted November 29, 2009 We're about to try our first aft - an OV on the Amsterdam 14-day Alaska - I can't wait!!! Have always wanted an aft, and now my wish will be fulfilled - for 14 days - can't beat that!!! We're right under the pool on the Lido deck, but I have no concerns since it will be Alaska in late May/early June, so don't imagine we'll be hearing much chair dragging;). And any vibration or noise from docking certainly won't bother us - just happy to be there and enjoying this exicting itinerary. Looking forward to being mesmerized by the wake and the spectacular scenery. Just 6 months (and one day, but who's counting????:p) from today. YAHOO! Rare silentbob007 Posted November 29, 2009 #8 Share Posted November 29, 2009 Hey everyone, just to be clear, I don't believe that the Inspiration has aft-balcony cabins. The OP I believe is just talking about a cabin in the aft of the ship, perhaps an OV. OP, I like the back of the ship because there's not a lot of foot traffic ... the only people back there are the ones who live back there or the room stewards. Otherwise, you may feel a little more vibration, but nothing too serious most of the time.
