I was hoping someone would be able to tell me the cheapest way to get from the Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral. We have two adults and three children.

Thrifty/Dollar (co-located) and AVIS across the street

all within 2 miles of one another and all run shuttles to the port - go for best price, search out coupons etc etc

OP are you coming in the day before or the day of ? We usually rent a car when we arrive because we come in the day before the cruise, we have used Cocoa Beach Shuttle but got stuck sitting for a long time in the hot sun while they tried to fill all their vans/busses before departing. If you do use CBS tell them you are a Cruise Critic member and you will save 10%. However I love the freedom of a rental and being able to come in go when I please, we have always had good luck with Avis. I arrived a day early for my cruise, and picked up a car rental from Dollar one way, to and from Orlando Airport and Cocoa Beach. Total was $99.00 for both one way rentals. Dollar has a shuttle that takes you to and picks you up from the port.
