Cabins on Destiny

Recommended Posts

Hi mckalst

Haven't been on Deck 3 but from what I understand the cabins are the same size on Deck 3 as they are on Decks 4 and 5 (but cheaper). I think they may start getting bigger from Deck 6 upwards but the they are more expensive.

We have been on Deck 5 but for March 2011 we have booked a deck 3 since it's not worth paying the extra money for a higher deck if they are the same size. We always have an outside cabin as we like the natural light.

Hope this helps a bit.

We were on deck 3 in June this year and have rebooked for January on the same deck.

We only have an inside cabin as we don't use it during the day. We only sleep, shower and change in there. We don't spend a great deal of time in it.

Same here - been on Deck 3 twice and found the cabin perfectly ok for what we need; somewhere to change, shower and sleep.

Hi cannockfrodo

You can sunbathe at the front of the ship up on the deck above the swimming pools and sort of behind the bar. Not many children go up there as there is nothing there for them to do. There are plenty of sun loungers there, although it does get busy and the loungers do tend to get quite close to each other. Most of the children would be around the pool area.
