Where are all the reviews on the Freedom? Not very many reviews posted is that a good or bad thing if wanting to go on the freedom?

I was on the Freedom last New Years. Its one of Carnivals best. Service and the food were all very good. Its also a big ship. Lots of walking

We arent getting any new ones because it in dry dock right now. I think it sails again soon....like in a couple days, so then I bet we will get some new ones :) I'm anxious too!

I sailed on the Freedom the last week 11/21 before it went to dry dock! We had a super fantastic time. Weather good, service good, ship great and clean. NO complaints here. :)

We too just sailed the Freedom! She is a beautiful ship. We didnt post a review tho just due to the fact that my kids had a bad case of sea sickness and they had a bad time. We however had a great time when we were able to enjoy the ship! You will have a wonderful time, sure wished we were going on her again like now!!!

lds26 - I was on the same cruise 11/7....sorry your kids got sicksea. We did have some rough seas the first couple of days...we were in an aft cabin so we REALLY felt the movement, but we loved it! Showering was tricky, however.

 

I have sailed on the Freedom twice and loved her both times. It is a big ship and plan on doing lots of walking (especially if you have an aft cabin), don't miss out on the Fish N' Chips on Deck 10 (yummy oysters), the casino "ate" my money on both cruises, the food was great on both cruises, but I missed the burrito bar on the 11/7 cruise as it was closed the whole 8 days (what's up with that?), and, finally, if you don't have a baloney cabin, but would like to enjoy the outside without lots of people or noise check out Deck 3 (or was it Deck 4?).

for any of you that just sailed freedom... how late did the internation lounge stay open? i ask this because our cruise is in jan and our rooms are right above it. I may try all I can to get our rooms moved if it is going to be loud..

I think you will be fine. We ended up there one night around 11pm and there was absolutely NOTHING going on. I didn't keep my capers, sorry!

It is open until 1 a.m. even on the last night (there's a farewell party in there) - can't comment on the noise level...
