Is there a certain beach on SMB that you personally like best?

 

Yup, Royal Palms...although Sea Grape is almost identical, Royal Palms is where we went on our very first trip to the island, so it's got that "fond memories" edge over Sea Grape... :D

Wondering if anybody knows about how much a taxi costs from tender pier to rum point? How long it takes?

 

About $80 US each way for 2-3 people, likely more if it's a larger group. It's a 45 minute drive, and you'll need to pre-arrange the return trip because there won't be any taxis waiting in the area to take you back.

 

The easier (and much cheaper) way to get there is to rent a car, or to take an excursion (private or through the ship) that includes Rum Point as a stop.
