Getting Married on Celebrity

SusieV

Recommended Posts

My mother and her fiance want to get married on our December sailing of Celebrity Equinox.

I emailed them and I'm waiting for package information so I can help her plan what she wants.

Anyone been married on Celebrity? Is there a lot of red tape? How are the packages priced? If anyone has helpful information, I'd really appreciate it.

Hi!

I just noticed your post. If it was this December, I'm sure you've found your answer. I'm getting married in January, and our paperwork and payment had to be submitted three months prior to sailing. And if you are getting married on the ship, you have to get a marriage license through Malta, which also takes over 45 days to process. If it's Dec. 2010, no problem, but you need at minimum a 4 month window to get all the paperwork for the marriage license to get married on the ship at sea.
