We go to Vegas at least once a year and our fave is the Palazzo, we also like the Venetian. There is also a t.v. in the bathroom, you can watch the news while taking a shower in the glassed in shower.

If you go make sure you take your ss card because they will double your points from the cruise casino to your vegas card.

I received a letter to get 4 free nights at the Venetian in Vegas from Carnival players club. I called and DH and I will be going in Feb. Has anyone else got this. I asked over and over and this is free, no taxes, or anything. Of course we pay for our flights and they want us to use their casino. I can't belive this, that we are going to stay at the Venetion. I asked if this was a time share also, they said no. Has anyone got anymore info on this?? I did reserve four nights, want to get everyone's input before we book our flights. Thanks, Lynn Anne

Lynn Anne,

My cousin and I (we each had our own room) received this offer and used it in January. It was wonderful. The rooms are mini suites and are beautiful. So go I promise you you won't be sorry!!!

I got this offer today and I have not spent one dime in a casino on land or sea. We are thinking about taking them up on the offer just to go as we have some free tickets we need to use between now and August.

I remembered when reading about this on CC a while back so when I got the offer I knew it was probably legit but came here to verify.

My offer isn't as good as some I've seen...2-4 nights in a suite and $50 casino credit (although I'll take anything that is free).

Only problem is I have 5 days to decide on a date :(....guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow.

We also spend a lot of time in the casino - (we were on for a back to back) Hubby loves the slots and lost his shirt this trip!! The only benefit is that I won playing cards and it helped recoup his losses to a reasonable amount. That being said we have never received any of these offers to go to Vegas at the Venetian.

Does anyone know if this is offered to Canadians. I would certainly consider this and wonder why we have never received the offer. It is not that we do not leave enough in the casino!!

If any Canadians have received this offer I would like to know. That way I will know if it is worth my effort to see why we are not on the "list".

Thanks

David, I used the offer in Sept. of 09. When I got home, the offers started coming in all the time, both in snail mail and email. They have all kinds of tournaments, giveaways, etc. and really try to get you to come back. Thats why after our Sept. cruise we're going back to Vegas and staying at the Palazzo next May. Since I'll be on the Pride this Sept. I will definitely be in the casino every night adding points to my Grazie card.

Eileen...did they always give you the same comps from Carnival as far as luxury suite nights? Also I heard to use your SS card from Carnival so that you can get more points..did you do that?

We just got this offer the other day. I just put it aside with the others we get. Now I'm thinking of going. 4 nights, $750 slot credit, $100 dining credit. That's hard to turn down!!

You must be a "high roller." I must be the tier below....my offer is 2 - 4 nights, $250 slot credit and $50 dining credit. I'm looking on-line now for flight information!!!

We have been on a few cruises now, always play video poker. Last cruise was March out of Miami, before that was Sept 09 out of Fort Lauderdale. Next cruise is Sept out of Port Canaveral. The FL Casino host said hubby was the highest gambler of the week, always the same . Never ever got an offer so cant be down to casino.

We are off to Vegas end of June staying at MGM for free as we usually stay there and gamble big time although not as much as table players i think. Wouldnt mind staying at the Venetian for free lol. Is it cos we live in the UK that we dont get these offers ??

Yes, so far all my offers have been for 4 nights. While on board the Miracle, I used my SS all the time in the casino. However, when I made reservations to the Palazzo using the Carnival offer, I had to sign up for their Grazie card. Now I hear that points made on your Carnival SS card double your points on your Grazie card. Guess I'll find out in Sept.

Wow, now THAT's an offer I wouldn't turn down. And I thought my offer was good - if someone was going to offer me a free room and $850 in freebies, I'd be over the moon!!

Clearly by all the posts, there isn't much rhyme or reason as to who gets mailed this offer. I did sign up for a Carnival Player's Club Card only because I wanted to charge my slot play to my sign and sail card. All total, I lost about $250 on the slots, but obviously with winning and losing I bet a lot more than that.

I don't have that card anymore...didn't think I'd need it. I guess when the hubby and I go in August to the Palazzo, I have to go to the Grazie desk to get the slot play and dining certificates. I'll ask them if it's possible to get my Carnival points doubled over to my Grazie card at that time even though I no longer have the card itself.

Believe it or not, the hubby is now thinking maybe we should pass on the offer because he doesn't really want to spend the money. Keep in mind that our air is free, hotel is free, and $250 in free offers. WHAT??? I'll be going with or without him...

Here's to hoping we all get our free offers. Afterall, cruising is NOT cheap (it was one of the most expensive family vacations we've ever taken), and it is really nice to get an unexpected surprise in the mail.

I'm pizzed...........I am a pretty big gambler (compared to what others are reporting) usually accumulate 4000+ points everytime I cruise (3 or 4 a year) I've signed up on the Grazie site, but never gotten this offer.

Who should I call to jump start the process????

I've never been to Vegas but would love to go.

  • 2 months later...

We done this multiple times and it is totally free and a great get away! DH spends a bit of money in the casinos when we cruise and we always get them in the mail a month or two after we cruise...... Now we get them all the time and use them as much as we can. Enjoy your get away!

My wife and I just got back from Las Vegas..the Palazzo and it was totally free with the coupon...the suite was fabulous!! They told me that my Carnvial points will apply on my Grazie Card after they contact Carnival. I hope I will get this offer again!! So if you have your sail and sign card..don't forget to bring it...

I thought this was over, as the Carnival Players Club and Club Grazie are no longer partners. At least, that is what the slot host at the Venetian told me...

I was told the same thing. Will see what happens. I have 4 nights in Vegas for free right now. Going on to many cruises so will use in the spring sometime.

Now I get spec cruises prices from CCL player club. Not bad, one with $700 slot credit in sept and another for Nov thats $900 slot credit. Can't do them both too much going on. This is better then being platinum.

I receive this offer every month along with other comp offers from Vagas. I live in a casino town so no reason to travel to another to give them my money.

Everyone needs to experience Vegas, at least once, and you can enjoy it w/o gambling a dime.

Sadly, this is true. I called the Ocean Player's club and asked. The girl told me it was a promotion and it's now over. She did say that they were in the process of rolling out a new promotion but didn't know when it would start, but it's not with the Venetian/Palazzo.
