I have had several (not today I promise) and had one as recently as the first week in November.

BUT

For the life of me I can't remember the name of the drink. It a Pina Colada with a shot of Blue Curaco. Carnival has a name for it, in fact I discovered the drink when someone on CC mentioned it.

Ok folks help-what is the name of that drink. Its driving me crazy.

Pina Coladas are rum-based. Blue Hawaiis are vodka based. If you ask for a Blue Colada, they'll know what you're after. From the below recipe though, it sounds a lot like a Shark Bite minus the Grenadine:

3/4 oz spiced rum

3/4 oz light rum

1/2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur

1 1/2 oz sweet and sour mix

3 drops grenadine syrup

The most fun way to find out is to book a cruise and find out in person:D

Love those!

Great conversation starter. Everyone asks what I am drinking! :p

Here's the recipe -

1 oz Rum

1/2 oz Melon Liquor (Midori)

1 1/2 oz coconut cream

crushed ice

Blue Curacoa float

I've had them blended, but I really like mine layered. White, Green & Blue.

Oooooooooh, that sounds yummy! I'll have to print this out and put it in my cruise file.

I remember having my first BBC on a cruise a few years ago. Went on two cruises after that, and for the life of me, couldn't remember the name of that drink. It drove me crazy. Went on the Dream earlier this month and I heard someone order one. It made my day. Had several on the Dream and I won't ever forget the name again. :)

As funny as it sounds, I make a list of 'must try drinks' prior to every cruise. I usually forget it at home though, lol. This one makes the list, thanks!

I have just started my list which now includes:

Twilight Zone

Mango Swirl

...and there's some new chocolate frozen drink that sounds great too? Need to get the name and add it to the list!!!;)
