Your opinion on what resort to go to in OR

Hi, I wanted to know if anyone could give me their opinion on 3 different resorts.

We will be going to Jamaica in Feb. to the Ocho Rios port.

I have contacted Sandals and was given 2 choices of resorts

Sandles Dunns River

or

Sandles Grande

Dunns Rivers being the closest. Both $85pp AI 10 to 6

15 minutes apart from eachother.

Then I contacted Sunset Beach resorts and they told me the one I wanted to go to was 1 hour and 45 minutes away in MB, but they had another one in OR

Sunset Jamaica Grande 15 minutes away.

$60pp AI 10 to 6

All look great but I can not decide.

I really want a nice beach where I can lay on my raft in the water that I bring, and do not want to have to walk over rocks to get into the water, I like a nice sand entrance to the water.

They all look like they have nice pools which we can use too.

Maybe let me know how the food/drink were.

If anyone has been to any of the three resorts could you please give me your opinion of them, I would really appriciated it.

If Sandles was nicer then I do not mind paying the extra money.

Thank You in advance

Sue

Darn, no one replied to your post. We are looking to do the same thing when we go on our cruise. Did you pick an AI resort? Which one did you choose and how did you like it? Thanks!

I have been to Sunset Jamaica Grande 3 times.

I keep returning because I like the price, the location, the people, the place and the food.

It is not a five star resort by no means, but it is comfortable and I am happy going there.

If you are not necessarily looking for luxury, then I would say go for SJG.

I don't know much about the sandals location, but price wise SJG is worth every penny.

Do you know what type of beverages are served at SJG? I'm wondering if they serve international as well as island alcohol (we like Jamaican rums, but not the others as well), and if they serve wine and champagne. Thanks!
